At Unique Custom Products, our commitment to sustainability begins with the materials we choose. The majority of our wood is sourced from responsibly managed forests in the Appalachian and Cascade Mountains—regions renowned for their dedication to long-term forest stewardship.

Thanks to modern forestry practices, these regions now boast more harvestable lumber than they did a century ago. In fact, according to the U.S. Forest Service, for every tree harvested in the 344-county Appalachian region, 2.29 new trees are growing—a powerful indicator of thriving, renewable ecosystems.

  We source premium hardwoods such as Alder, Maple, Cherry, and Walnut—valued for their beauty, durability, and character.
